APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

July 20, 2007

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR or ACV rinses are used to wash away the residue left by product buildup. Even commercial shampoos leave a residue. It’s also supposed to strengthen the hair and add shine. I used this organic brand. It’s super cheap ($3). This will become part of my weekly routine. I used ½ cup unfiltered ACV and 1 quart of water. I wanted to add honey, but I forgot. I left it in my hair for 5 minutes under a plastic cap, then rinsed out in the shower. IT WORKS!!! My hair was shinier and softer. I will be using this again, but next time I will remember to add the honey. Oh, it does smell like umm… vinegar but once you rinse it out… the odor is gone. I wouldn’t lie to you, best $3 I ever spent but make sure it’s ORGANIC and UNFILTERED!!!
